Meallmore offers dedicated specialist adult care services in selected care homes across Scotland, designed to support individuals with long-term, complex needs - those aged between 18 - 65 years old. We care for adults with conditions such as acquired brain injuries, neurological disorders, complex mental health needs, and autism spectrum conditions, tailoring our approach to meet every individual’s needs and goals. With access to skilled staff, structured routines, and therapeutic activities, our homes provide safe, empowering environments where adults can live well with the support they need to thrive.
Specialist adult care is for individuals aged 18 and over who live with ongoing health conditions, disabilities, or challenges that affect their ability to live independently. These may be physical, neurological, psychological, or behavioural in nature.
At Meallmore, our specialist services combine clinical oversight with person-centred care. We create individual support plans that focus on stability, safety, emotional wellbeing, and long-term quality of life – whether someone is with us for a few months or many years. Our homes are adapted to meet specialist needs, and our teams receive enhanced training to deliver the right care, the right way.
We provide structured, personalised support that balances physical and emotional wellbeing with opportunities for growth, independence and connection.
At Meallmore, we're dedicated to crafting an extraordinary experience for our residents. We believe in embracing life to the fullest, fostering independence, preserving dignity, and championing choice in every aspect of daily living.
Our compassionate team, from caregivers and nurses to activities coordinators and chefs, is passionately committed to a person-centered approach. We take the time to truly understand each resident, their unique preferences, and what brings them joy.
Life at Meallmore is a personalised journey, whether it involves engaging activities, meaningful social connections, serene moments of reflection, nourishing meals, or holistic well-being.
