I am the Home Manager at Parklands Care Home in Alloa, bringing over 25 years of healthcare experience, including 14 years in care home management. Originally from Hampshire, I began my career as an intensive care nurse after earning my degree in Adult Health Nursing from the University of Southampton in 2001.
After a decade in intensive care, I transitioned to care home nursing, where I found my passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Since moving to Scotland, I have worked across nursing homes, intensive care, learning disability support, and mental health care, before joining Meallmore’s Parklands Care Home as Deputy Manager in 2023.
Now as Home Manager, I am committed to ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care in a welcoming and supportive environment. I am proud to lead a fantastic team and be part of an organisation that truly values quality care, community, and continuous improvement.
We understand the unique challenges faced by individuals with medical conditions and personal living needs that require 24-hour assistance and care from qualified nurses. Choose Meallmore for a place where you can feel safe, supported, and cared for like family, regain strength, independence, and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
At Meallmore, we understand the challenges faced by individuals diagnosed with dementia who require expert 24-hour care and can no longer maintain their independence at home. We are here to offer compassionate assistance and dedicated care to individuals navigating the journey of dementia, ensuring their wellbeing and comfort every step of the way.
At Meallmore, we understand that there are times when individuals may require a temporary living arrangement at a care home. This is known as respite, which refers to a short stay in a care home that can range from a few days to a couple of weeks.
