About our Highland homes

Rooted in the communities we serve

The Highlands are shaped by strong local communities, distinctive towns and landscapes that hold deep meaning for the people who live there. When someone begins considering care, remaining close to familiar places, family connections and trusted local relationships can provide valuable reassurance.

Meallmore has six homes across Inverness, Nairn and Alness. Together, they provide a varied range of care for older people and adults with more complex support needs, while each home retains its own character, facilities and areas of expertise.

Our Inverness homes serve residents and families from the city and surrounding Highland communities. In Nairn, our homes provide care within easy reach of the historic seaside town, while Redwoods supports residents from Alness, Easter Ross and neighbouring areas.

Across every home, our colleagues take time to understand the individual. This includes their health and support needs, preferred routines, relationships, interests, communication and personal history. It is this understanding that helps care feel personal, respectful and genuinely connected to the life each resident has already built.
