Meallmore's Exclusive Whisky Tasting
Meallmore's Exclusive Whisky Tasting
Meallmore has launched an exclusive Highland Single Malt Whisky Tasting Experience across all care homes in Scotland to celebrate Father’s Day weekend.
The innovative program aims to enhance the residents’ quality of life by offering them a unique opportunity to explore Scotland's rich whisky heritage.
Each of the 26 homes hosted a sensory experience, allowing residents to enjoy the aromas and tastes of the whisky whilst learning about the history of the spirit.
The experience was developed by Sam Dougan, Meallmore’s Activity and Engagement Lead to complement the golden liquid experience. Led by the senses, the whisky experience included aroma pots, whisky staves and taste delights to arouse the senses and enhance this whisky experience.
Whisky holds a special place in Scottish culture, and the team at Meallmore recognises the importance of creating meaningful and engaging experiences for its residents.
Each resident received personalised attention and support throughout the tasting, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment.
Jody Marshall, Group Hospitality Manager at Meallmore said: "We are thrilled to introduce this exceptional Highland Single Malt Whisky Tasting Experience to our residents. At Meallmore, we believe in fostering a stimulating and enriching environment for all, and this program exemplifies our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences. It not only showcases the cultural heritage of Scotland but also encourages social interaction."
The Highland Single Malt Whisky Tasting Experience aligns with Meallmore's broader philosophy of promoting holistic wellbeing among its residents. By offering activities that cater to their interests and passions, Meallmore ensures that every individual receives the highest level of care, including engaging and enjoyable experiences that contribute to their overall happiness and contentment.
