Redwoods Care Home in Alness has received positive Care Inspectorate feedback, recognising compassionate care, strong teamwork and a warm, homely environment.

We’re incredibly proud that two of our chefs, Anna Koziarkska of Auchtercrag and Paul O’Brien of St Modans reached the finals of the NACC Care Chef of the Year awards. The awards are a national competition with entrants from all across the UK so making the finals is a huge achievement for both chefs.
The two chefs had qualified from the Scottish Regional heats for which three Meallmore chefs took part.
Jody Marshall, group hospitality manager for Meallmore, said: “We are extremely proud that three of our chefs secured places in the Scottish regional heats of the NACC Care Chef of the Year Competition.
“Getting this far in the competition is a huge achievement for all three of our chefs. Their success reflects the quality of the food we produce at Meallmore, and the importance of good nutrition. We are delighted that Meallmore are so well represented at these heats.”
We’re also thrilled to have four finalists in the Scottish Care National Care Home Awards which highlights the breadth of talent across our organisation. The finalists are from Belleaire, Airthrey, Hilton Court and Culduthel.
We’re committed to sharing knowledge, advice, and updates from across our care homes and the world of care. Read our latest articles, resident stories, and company updates.
