A million pounds is a big milestone. Behind it are the personal goals of Meallmore colleagues: putting something aside for the unexpected, looking ahead to future plans and building a savings habit that works for them.

Our colleagues have collectively put £1 million into their Stream savings pots. To recognise the achievement, Stream presented a certificate to Meallmore's Finance and Accounts team, who helped colleagues adopt the service.

It is a moment to celebrate the colleagues who have contributed, and the team who helped them get involved.

Small steps, a shared achievement

The announcement highlighted three things at the heart of the milestone: building savings habits, preparing for unexpected costs and saving towards future plans. Each starts with an individual decision to put something aside.

Those goals will mean different things to different colleagues. What brings them together here is the collective achievement. The £1 million figure belongs to the people taking those steps, with their own priorities and plans in mind.

That is what makes this more than a certificate. It is recognition of colleagues doing something for themselves and their futures, and an opportunity for us to celebrate them.

The team behind the certificate

Meallmore's Finance and Accounts team helped colleagues adopt Stream and received the milestone certificate on their behalf. Their contribution is part of this story too: helping colleagues get involved in the service that made these savings pots possible.

Angela Morrison and Isabel Szeliga were tagged in the announcement, which pictured the team together with the £1 million certificate.

To everyone who has taken part, and to our Finance and Accounts colleagues who helped people get started, thank you. This is your achievement.

Great places to work, stories worth sharing

At Meallmore, our colleagues are at the heart of what we do. Their work helps make our homes great places to live, and their own achievements deserve to be recognised too.

This milestone sits alongside the stories we share in Great Places to Work: a closer look at the people, experiences and contributions that make up working life at Meallmore. It is not just about the work someone does, but the person behind it.

Our Meallmore Colleague Awards are another opportunity to recognise those contributions across the business. Whether we are celebrating a shared milestone or an individual achievement, the people behind it matter.
