At Meallmore, we believe that exceptional care extends far beyond healthcare - it’s about creating a home. One of the most important ways we achieve this is through our hospitality and catering, ensuring that every meal served is not just nutritious but also enjoyable, comforting, and tailored to the needs of our residents.
That’s why we’re delighted to announce that Meallmore has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Care Home Catering Awards 2025! Our Meallmore Catering Teams in have been recognised in the Care Home Catering Team of the Year category, and we’re also proud to be a finalist for Group Care Home Caterer of the Year.
This national recognition is a huge milestone for Meallmore and a true testament to the innovation, dedication, and passion of our hospitality and catering teams across our homes.
2024 has already been an exciting year for Meallmore. In January, we celebrated the opening of Kelvinside Manor, our newest care home in Glasgow, designed to offer luxury residential, nursing, and dementia care. Later this year, we will open Pitfodels Wood in Aberdeen, a state-of-the-art care home designed to set a new benchmark for quality in care.
Being recognised at a UK-wide level for our hospitality and catering services highlights just how far we have come in creating exceptional dining experiences that place residents at the heart of everything we do.
But at Meallmore, it’s not just about great food - it’s about creating memorable experiences, meaningful engagement, and a sense of community.
Every meal at Meallmore is about more than just nutrition - it’s about bringing joy, fostering connections, and ensuring that mealtimes are a highlight of each day.
