What inspectors heard

Inspectors spoke with residents, relatives and external visitors during the visit. Feedback highlighted the hard work of the team and the positive outcomes being achieved for residents, with excellent colleague interactions and strong, supportive relationships with residents and families recognised across the home.

Management and leadership were praised for maintaining consistently high standards, while care plans were described as detailed, thorough and proactive in responding to residents’ health needs.

Real outcomes for residents

Inspectors highlighted residents who had shown physical and social progress since moving to Greenan Manor, a sign of what settled routines, good nutrition and daily company can do.

The care being provided to residents receiving palliative and end-of-life support was also noted, with families expressing gratitude for the quality of life their loved ones continue to experience. You can read more about how we approach this in our palliative care pages.

Food, hosting and teamwork

The quality and presentation of the menu, the range of choices available and the effectiveness of the host role were all commended, alongside clear teamwork across departments. Dining is something we take seriously group-wide, and it shows in the everyday detail at Greenan Manor.

Colleagues told inspectors they feel well supported and spoke positively about the management and leadership within the home. A fantastic result, and a real team effort.
