This includes their physical and mental health needs, routines, abilities, interests, communication preferences, personal history and longer-term goals. For some residents, a self-contained environment may provide an opportunity to develop confidence in managing routines and everyday tasks while remaining connected to the care and support available at Kinmylies Lodge. Not every resident will use a self-contained flat, and progression is not automatic or time-limited.

Activities at Kinmylies Lodge are intended to support enjoyment, structure, confidence and both physical and mental wellbeing. Verified examples include pamper groups, walking, cycling and mindful meditation. Residents may also take part in cooking, budgeting, social activities and appropriate trips outside the home.
