Our roles
Senior Care and Support Worker
The first step into leading others. Seniors set the tone of a shift, and we run a dedicated development programme to prepare people for the role.
The job
What the role involves.
- Leading the care team on shift and setting the standard for the day
- Medication administration and pain management
- Writing and reviewing person-centred care plans
- Clinical observation, assessment and escalation
- Supporting and coaching less experienced colleagues
Who it suits
Experienced carers who already find themselves being asked the questions. It suits people who can hold the detail of a care plan and the mood of a team at the same time.
Where it leads
Senior Care Practitioner, then Deputy Manager and Home Manager through our Good to Great programme.
