Recognising exceptional individuals who are either new to the sector or have grown in their role to become a shining example.

Positive Impact
Recognising individuals who have consistently embodied the Meallmore Values and Ways of Working and empowered others to do the same, evidencing how their sustained input has positively benefited individuals, services and/or the wider sector.
Manager of the Year
This award will be made to a manager who shows vision in developing person-centered care by recruiting and developing a team who consistently deliver good outcomes and meet the ever-changing need of the residents. In addition to the care focus the manager will also understand the need for compliance and commerciality.

Senior Carer / Practitioner
This award recognises the vital role of the Senior Care Worker and Senior Care Practitioner in providing quality care and support to residents / clients and colleagues. You work in partnership with your nursing and care colleagues to ensure each person is valued and treated respect in all aspects of their daily life and can demonstrate evidence of dedication, sensitive handling of matters of importance to residents, and career progression.

This award celebrates teams who can demonstrate their understanding of treating each person as an individual by providing person-centered care, how they make a difference to individuals, and a passion for improving the care/lives of people within their service with excellence and innovation.

This award will be presented to a nurse or deputy manager who represents effective and outstanding nursing practice within the care home environment and ensures each person is valued and treated with respect in all aspects of their daily life.

Carer of the Year
This award will be made to a care worker who recognises the responsibility and rewards that come with the opportunity to care for others and is known to consistently provide high-quality standards that support our commitment to person-centered care. A key member of the team who shows exemplary skills and dedication in their work and has a strong commitment to their continued personal development and the support of their colleagues.
Mental Health Home
This award celebrates teams who can reflect the specific skills needed to manage and deliver services sensitive to the needs of their client group. Making a difference to individuals through their specialist care, demonstrating excellence and innovation in developing their care provision.

This colleague is someone who represents our company values every day, whilst creating an environment that feels like a great place to work by having a positive impact on the colleagues that they work alongside.
Meals Mean More
Finalist chefs will have to prepare a meal, taking into account nutrition presentation, taste, textured diet process, fortification, and suitability for finger food. The cook-off has been judged by a panel of 6 judges.
