The Meallmore Colleague Awards are back, and this year promises to be bigger than ever. On Wednesday 29th October, colleagues from across Scotland will come together at the Hilton Dunblane Hydro to celebrate the incredible talent, dedication and compassion that make Meallmore such a special place to live and work.
Now in their annual tradition, these awards shine a spotlight on colleagues and teams who go above and beyond every day to make a difference to the lives of residents, families, and each other. From emerging talent to lifetime achievement, every category reflects the values that sit at the heart of Meallmore: Create, Act, Recognise and Engage.
Meet the Finalists
Those highlighted in gold are hyperlinks to the individual home pages, they do not indicate results. A hyperlink is a electronic link that when clicked takes you to another page on our website. We've done this so you can click to learn more about each of the homes in our Meallmore Group ahead of the awards. Some homes have multiple nominations so will only appear in gold once.

Recognising Talent Across the Organisation
This year’s finalists showcase the breadth of skill and commitment across our homes and support services. Whether it’s innovative activities, compassionate nursing, or outstanding leadership, each finalist represents the very best of Meallmore.
Among the nominees for the Emerging Talent Award are colleagues who have shown incredible growth and promise early in their careers. The Home Support Award and Head Office/Field-Based Support Award highlight those whose behind-the-scenes efforts are vital in ensuring our homes run smoothly and residents are supported in every way.
The Meaningful Activities Award celebrates creativity in making life engaging and fun for residents, while the Meals Mean More Award recognises the role of great food and hospitality in creating a homely environment.
Spotlight on Care and Compassion
Care is at the core of everything we do, and this is reflected in categories such as Carer of the Year, Senior Care Worker/Practitioner of the Year, and Nurse of the Year. These awards acknowledge the dedication of colleagues who provide daily support, comfort, and expert care, often becoming like extended family to those they look after.
The Manager of the Year Award recognises leaders who inspire their teams, foster positive cultures, and ensure residents receive the very best quality of care. Meanwhile, the Specialist Service of the Year and Elderly Home of the Year Awards celebrate entire teams who work together to create safe, supportive and welcoming environments.
Going Beyond Care
Our awards don’t just focus on clinical excellence, they also celebrate the broader impact colleagues have in making Meallmore a trusted, welcoming community.
The Positive Impact Award highlights colleagues whose actions extend beyond their role to make a real difference to residents, families, or local communities. The Brand Ambassador Award recognises those who embody Meallmore’s values both inside and outside the workplace, proudly representing who we are.
A Day of Celebration
Finalists will join colleagues and sponsors for a day of recognition, laughter, and celebration. More than just an awards ceremony, the event is a chance to pause, reflect, and say thank you to the people who make Meallmore what it is: a place where care is delivered with heart, and where colleagues support one another like family.
Every finalist, whether an individual or a team, has been nominated because they make a meaningful difference every day. Their passion, kindness, and commitment show in the way residents feel at home, in the way families feel reassured, and in the way colleagues feel supported to grow and thrive.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
The Meallmore Colleague Awards would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors, who help us to shine a light on the outstanding work happening across our homes and support services. Their partnership ensures we can give our colleagues the recognition they truly deserve.
Looking Ahead
As we count down to October, we wish all our finalists the very best of luck. No matter the outcome on the night, being nominated is a huge achievement and recognition of the difference you make every single day.
Congratulations to all our finalists, you are the heart of Meallmore, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
